This app is inspired by Dr. Sheldon Cooper’s “Fun With Flags” internet sensation. 

To quote Sheldon, this app "is not just for the flag aficionado. It's also for the flag novice."

Sometimes you may think: “What was that flag I saw today?”

If you remember any details about that flag - we will help you find it! Just select anything you know: color, design pattern, special emblem.

Our database contains flags of all 195 countries in the world today.

The app uses general vexillology terminology. 

The search query consists of four parts:

1. Country - just type any part of the name of a country.

2. Colors - for ease-of-use, we combine colors in search to include similar hues. For example, red includes anything from pink to maroon, yellow includes orange, etc.

3. Pattern - general design pattern of the flag.

4. Charge - a figure or symbol appearing in the field of a flag.

Please use tri-state controls to select your options in all of the categories(color, pattern, charge). 

 +  means that the flag has that feature, 

 -  means that it doesn’t. 

An empty gray box indicates that this feature will not be considered in a search.

You can cycle through all three states by repeatedly tapping controls.

As you make changes in any section of the query, the set of flags in the view reflect that immediately.

You can hide each section of the query by tapping the chevron symbol next to it. Or tap the chevron in the title to collapse entire query.
