The Game

This is a classic Trash card game for two players. One standard deck of 52 cards is used.

The objective of the game is to complete your layout of ten cards Ace through Ten (A,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)

For the first hand each player is dealt ten cards, face down. The top card from the deck is moved to the stack, face up.

The players take turns by drawing either the top card from the deck or the top card from the stock pile. If the card in the correct location is still face down, it is replaced by the drawn card and is being played next.

The move continues until the player gets a trash card (a Queen or a King), or if the appropriate card is already face up. Jacks are wild, so they can be place in any location.

The first player to complete their layout wins the hand, and starts the next hand, in which the winner get one card less.

The winner of the last hand, where only one card was played, wins the game.

Menu

Any time during the game tap the menu symbol at the top-right.

• New Game - start a new game.

• Settings - bring up the Settings page.

• Scoreboard - see the number of times you have won and lost the game. You can get to the Game Center Leaderboard to compare you score to other players.

• How To Play - shows documentation pages.

• About - show information about the app.

Settings

Since this game is played by different rules in different places, we providew the following setting to let everyone play their favorite game:

• Mode - This game can be played by two people, passing the device to each other. Alternatively, we created an AI player that you can play against in a Single Player mode.

• Wild / Trash option. Jacks are always wild, and Queens are always trash, but you can select the Kings to be either wild or trash.

• Last Chance - you can allow a second player to get a “last chance” - to play one more move after the first player wins the game.

• Show Hint - highlight all valid location to play the current card.
